Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites - New Harmony
Description
Visitors can enjoy an unforgettable evening of musical artistry as international jazz ensemble Reverso brings its USA tour to New Harmony. The one-night appearance will take place at 7:30 p.m. (CDT) on April 9 at Thrall's Opera House (612 Church St.) at the New Harmony State Historic Site. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

The concert is presented by Radar Hits the Road in partnership with the New Harmony Artists Guild and the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites. Reverso is a trans-oceanic chamber jazz project co-led by Ryan Keberle, named the No. 1 trombonist by Jazz Times, and acclaimed Paris-based pianist Frank West. The duo will perform on the historic Corbin Heinl Steinway, an instrument recently restored and made available by the New Harmony Artists Guild. Together with world-class French cellist Vince Curt, this talented trio promises to deliver a unique musical arts experience on stage in the beautifully restored Victorian theatre at Thrall’s Opera House. The ensemble's repertoire features original compositions by Keberle and Woeste that draw particular inspiration from early 20th-century French composers such as Maurice Ravel, Darius Milhaud, Francis Poulenc, Arthur Honneger and Germaine Tailleferre. Reverso has toured throughout the USA and Europe, receiving rave reviews from audiences and critics alike, making this concert a must-see event.

Tickets are $20 and are available online at IndianaMuseum.org/New-Harmony and at the venue's box office. Attendees are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance.
