Description
In the dark days of winter, people of the past turned toward skills they could do inside.  Come to Community House Number 2 to learn about the age old skill of broom making.  What materials were used to make brooms? What exactly is broom corn? How are they held together? Stay and learn how to make a cobweb broom, just perfect to get those cobwebs from the corners up high.  Workshop fee is $30.00 and will cover the instruction and all materials to make up to 2 cobweb booms.  The workshop is geared for ages 13 years and older. Preregistration is required by February 11, 2025 and can be made by emailing kemmorgan@indianamuseum.org or calling 812-682-3702.
